Tom Freestone is an operations, engineering, and supply chain professional starting his career in 2004. His expertise is helping private equity operating partners, corporate conglomerates, and government to create strategic plans, implement those plans into action, evaluate the implementation, and improve the process based on data analysis. He thrives working on large complex projects that are high pressure and fast paced. He is a servant leader and finds fulfillment in helping teams win by solving high stakes problems.
Tom has served in operations and project leadership roles for large fortune 100 companies and startups. With 10 years experience as an engineering leader he has led:

• 5 FAA product launches
• 1 FDA product launch
• 1 UL product launch
• 1 CE product launch
• Technical service outsource projects to Mexico, UK, India, and Austria.
In 6 years experience as an operations leader he has led:
• 3 different factory integrations
• 8 contract manufacturer work transfers
• 2 NADCAP audits
• 3 ISO audits
• Dozens of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement events
• Countless outsource projects to locations such as China, Mexico, and Malaysia
Tom holds an M.B.A. from Duke University with a concentration in Finance. He was a member of the cross continent program and studied in China, Russia, UAE, England, and India as part of the curriculum. His B.S. is from the University of Colorado in Boulder, with a major in Aerospace Engineering. He earned a PMP credential and holds graduate level certificates in General Management from the University of Michigan and Product Management from the University of California - Berkeley. Tom recently earned a certificate in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Management and Strategy Institute.
